The public meetings of the Board of Trustees of the Huntsville Independent School District are held regularly each month, typically on the third Thursday unless there is a conflict at the Hawkins Administration Building, 441 FM 2821 East, Huntsville, Texas 77320-9923.
HISD will live stream each regular monthly meeting as well as any special called meeting that includes an action item(s) from the HISD YouTube Channel (see link below) and then make a recorded copy available in our meeting video archives posted on the HISD website and accessible from the Board of Trustee webpage.
Public Comment: As per Board Policy, anyone wishing to speak may do so during the Public Comment section of the Agenda. The Board asks that comments pertain to public education and be no longer than 3 minutes. The Board will not respond to the comments or answer questions during the meeting. (Special Called Meeting comments may only pertain to the agenda topics.) Individuals who wish to address the Board during the portion of the meeting designated for "public comment" must be at the meeting before 6:00 pm and sign up to address the Board members.
