HISD Public Notice to Private Nonprofit Schools for Availability of Equitable Services for Private Nonprofit Schools - Response Deadline May 20, 2024

As a federal requirement, Huntsville ISD is notifying private nonprofit schools to inform them that they may be eligible to receive educational services from the Federal Title programs under Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Huntsville ISD will provide services to eligible students attending private elementary and secondary schools in accordance with Sec. 8501 (Participation of Children Enrolled in Private Schools), and timely, ongoing, and meaningful consultation with private school officials regarding such services [P.L. 114-95].

HISD Public Hearing Set for February 15, 2024 re: 2022-2023 Texas Academic Performance Report

Huntsville Independent School District will hold a public hearing on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 6:00 PM in the Hawkins Administration
Building Boardroom located at 441 FM 2821 East, Huntsville, Texas, for the purpose of hearing public discussion on the 2022-2023 Texas
Academic Performance Report (TAPR).

The hearing presentation will take place during the HISD Board of Trustees Regular Board meeting. Any citizen who desires to address the Board regarding the TAPR should arrive prior to the start of the Regular Board meeting to sign in and complete the required Public Hearing Comment
Card.
